As far as i understand it, characters (mules) holding the traded item(s) are to be deleted after the trading has commenced, so as to actually trade things and not "dupe" them. The thing is, I am wondering why a mod such as PlugY is not acceptable when it comes to the trading or giving away of items in SP. PlugY is not a conversion of the original Diablo, and it doesn't. Over the years it has grown to include numerous other useful functions, such as enabling Ladder Only Rune Words outside of the Battle.net Ladder, enabling the Uber quests outside of Battle.net and various other small tweaks and additions. The second download will overwrite parts of the first download but that's on purpose.PlugY is a mod whose primary purpose is to increase the stash size for Diablo II characters.

The only keys you should modify in PlugY.ini for Zy-El. It is there for a good reason and in any case, modifying someone elses Mod is bad form. You probably wouldn't like the results in any case. A lot of testing went into making sure this is the best version for use with the mod so it is not advisable to 'upgrade' to later versions. PlugY, The Survival Kit Official site Plug-in for Diablo II Lord of Destruction.PlugY version 5.06 is now included with Zy-El as standard. Since i have no intention of ever playing an amazon, these 3 items just sit there in my stash (which has "almost infinite" proportions thanks to PlugY) and stare at me accusingly. For the first time ever too.Anyways, what it comes down to is this: I have found 3 excellent uniques, excellent as far as i can tell, me being rather noobish and stuff, that are made solely for the hands of an amazon. Just finished Act 3 (finally) and now spend my spare time doing Meph runs on /players 1 till they come out of my ears and switching back to /players 5 when proceeding to A4. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcutsBut: Why cannot one just give his word that he has not used the mod in such a way? Or at least only for reasons like experimenting with builds?I find it a bit of a saddening that THE one and only mod that makes D2 thoroughly enjoyable for me (stack size!) at the same time prohibits me from trading here.As of now though i have no interest in trading items since, me being on and off this game since its release (more often off than on though due to its addictive nature and my so called common sense kicking in) i am currently working on killing Baal in Hell for the first time ever and i want to do it untwinked with all self-founds and preferably on at least /players 5 (nice test of patience too).
10 seconds, then I rather hysterically undid all my efforts. But i can't! Right?Even if you take my word that i have not used PlugY to make certain areas easier? Only for experimental purposes?Btw only via PlugY i have found out that a hammerdin supercedes any amazon any time easily when it comes to boredom. God, was i bored! So after that failed attempt of putting them to use the idea that i could just give them away struck me.
Oh, the language, the language! And the."arguments"! And the "language".was it a language or was it a random assortment of capital letters? I could not tell. There also seemed to be some running gag going on regarding "butseks" :undecided: and.oh never mind.Happy to have found this site and in hope for a many good replies,(who is actually hoping for a change in the "code of conduct" so he can trade in future times - the editor)Edit: I accidentally posted this in the SP trading forum. A flame war had erupted in one thread where someone had asked for help in some matter, where the combatants actually "discussed" America's role in the world (!). 4 weeks ago i first visited Blizzard's forum and after looking at the first page of threads there immediately tucked it back again. Felt zombified. After digging out D2 from under the bed ca. Click.swish.click.swish.click.swish.click.swish.ad inf.
Since D2 is mainly an item-collecting game (perfect builds with average gear simply lose out to average builds with perfect gear) rather than anything else I can only imagine that this has not been Blizzard's intention but a "necessary evil" in the times of ISDN and some such.I have not yet done uber tristram but it's nice to hear that they have it enabled. Personal ethics (or rather the standards i have set to myself to make the game the most enjoyable for me) restrict me from undoing mistakes/blunders on my behalf or mis-skilled charakters due to blizzard's lack of transparency concerning later levels (or rather their not quite so good balancing as far as i'm concerned, as quite a number of skills are extremely powerful early in the game and utterly useless in the later stages). The most annoying thing of vanilla D2, the ridiculously small storage space: PlugY takes care of that in such a way as it should have been in the first place. I am not enthusiastic enough (or fanatic.) to start another one just to see how a lightning- or cold-based one works or the infamous hammerdin. Best char right now is an 87 fanazealaot. The editor function only allows me to undo what i have done to my chars which suits me just fine. Sorry, and move as you see fit.As for me what PlugY offers is only advantegous.
Possessing the Anni though (or a torch) does unbalance the game, for me mainly due to the +20 resistances (and the attributes), making my char much more flexible in terms of what gear he can wear. The problem, as you can see above, is that i only see advantages, more or less. Was quite fun at first but slowly but surely starts to get annoying. The torches though are indeed so overpowered that i think i actually will not try and get one.it is nice to know though that if i wanted to i cattleya: It is not my intention to actually promote this mod. Everytime it reaches something in the vicinity of 2700 he'll pop. There is an automatic counter which goes up pretty quick. Same as as the enabled ladder rune yetidiah: It is not necessary to sell SoJs to make the D.Clone appear.
Some are good, others are not and it is up to me, the customer, to make the best of what i have in my hands. But I very much like their idea of extremely overpowered but also, in theory at least, extremely hard to achieve items. I do not much care for Blizzard's intentions. From my previous experiences (the last 2 or 3 years ago) with D2 i cannot recall even remotely such a flexibility.I am not a friend of the argument, that Annis, Torches and Enigmas for everybody has "not been how Blizzard intended it to be".
There seems to a policy of some sort here which sometimes disregards even the mentioning of 3rd party programs. Nobody can ever be 100 % sure that his trading partner does not indeed use it secretly and does not at all feel bad about it.Anyway, this is all i wanted to say regarding PlugY. You'll have to draw a line somewhere.Again though it is a matter of trust. I do understand though that the community has decided to prohibit its use when it comes to trading.
It is strangely seductive."Today i found an Ith! Yeah an Ith! A somewhat high-pitched, femininish "Oh!" came out of my mouth followed by a somewhat disgruntled "Oh." when i saw that, in fact, it is an Ith and not, as i thought first, an Ist."Since I myself did not really care much for other people's experiences in this regard, unless they were quite special, I don't expect other people, especially those who don't know me (so all of you) to care for mine and will just have to suppress this urge. The more i get into this game though the more i feel the need to tell each and everybody what has happened during my exploits. No need to have that answered.I have been reading in this forum ever since i started playing again about a month ago and was a bit put off by some threads where people simply stated their finds of the day or the fact that they have beaten The Ancients on Hell for the first time.
Hence, I searched the Internet for it and got hold of it.By the way, I am completely against cheating of any sort, just so you know.I noticed the Stat and Skill editing function and I must say. In later levels the amazon truly has some variety, the only "problem" is getting there.(Today i found my fourth amazon-only really good unique item :undecided: )Five days after Smiffy posted, I'm here with a question of my own. After reading Smiffy's first post about the PlugY mod, I became curious. Nevertheless I might, if it is "special" or In the name of Zod: Thx and i think i will do just that.
I Saved and Exit'ed immediately. As for the Extended Stash function, I also felt a pang of guilt.
